Top Team Leader
My journey with Usborne Books started in 2004 and continues today!
Like many, I signed up as a consultant with Usborne Books when my first born child was just a year old. New moms have difficult decisions to make about whether or not to return to work following their maternity leaves or to instead choose to build a business from home.
In light of the fact that pre-baby I worked incredibly long hours, I chose to become a stay at home mom, but alas, I always like to have a little something for myself on the go - enter Usborne!
The ability to build an outstanding library for my kids by becoming a consultant was very clear but I also saw the earning potential in turning Usborne into a successful business and so that’s exactly what I did.
Over the past 18 years I have mentored hundreds of women across Canada and helped them build successful home based businesses of their own.
I’m proud to say that I am the Top Leader in our company, Usborne Books at Home in Canada with a team of just over 3300 members.
I’m passionate about helping women chase their big dreams, build lives they can be proud of and gain financial independence.
If you are interested in securing a steady stream of income to support your family or even supplement other household income, I invite you to join our team. You’ll be glad you did!
WANT SOME FINE PRINT?
Some people really like to know who they are getting in business with, or just connecting with so heres the skinny on me and who exactly I am.
I was born and raised in the west end of Edmonton, Alberta - yes I was at West Edmonton Mall ALL the time lol
My favourite memories growing up are those that include time at our cabin at the lake and playing softball which is quite simply in my DNA.
Prior to having kids I worked on major oilfield refinery construction projects in administrative roles and worked very long hours which is why I did not return to this work.
I got married, had 2 kids and in 2014 moved to very rural Alberta.
I have a daughter who is a competitive athlete and a very talented softball pitcher and I’m enjoying my last bit of time with her before she leaves for college. To say I’m an avid softball mom would be an understatement!
I’m currently in the South Surrey / Whiterock area while my daughter trains with her team so thank goodness my business is portable and I can work from anywhere I like.
For that, I am incredibly grateful.
While I have built my Usborne Books business from zero to a healthy 6 figure earning home based business, I can hands down say that FREEDOM is the number one benefit of being an entrepreneur and I will never go back to working a “job” ever again.
Feel free to connect with me on social media and follow along on my journey with Usborne and as a softball mom!
